A coworker tells me something over the phone, then forgets to hang up. I hear him telling another coworker, "Dani isn't a chicken and shrimp kind of person. She's more of a chicken and meatballs kind of person, or a chicken and hamburger kind of person."
I am hurt and offended.

Wow, that is such a horrible thing to say about someone!
The endless possibilities of what this could mean are mind boggling! Meatballs are pretty dang tasty though! Who isn't a meatball type person?!
I hate shrimp and not a HUGE fan of chicken...what does that say about me.
Hmmmmmmm.........very interesting.........and how does that make you feel???
I like fried shrimp. But that's all.
Your co-worker is obviously a jugdmental, opinionated ass. Tell him I think he's a liver, Rocky Mt. oyster kind of person and I don't even know him.
Why do we let these small, insignificant people get to us? I do it too. I can get 5 compliments but the 1 criticism sends me reeling. UGH!!
I did try goodreads. I have a couple of their suggestions reserved at the lib. They were out, so they must be goo. Thanks for the suggestions.
Mmm, spicy italian or even the plain Swedish. Yum.
Mom's reaction: This was a dream.
Josh: wait I don't get it.
Matt's driving and didn't react.
It must be the way I read it out loud.
